Fashion?

What is fashion? I would define it as one’s own personal style. With so many trends how can one really keep up?! Find your inner fashionista and make your own fashion. The old rule of not wearing white after Labor Day is out the window! Mix trends, mix patterns, who cares! As long as you feel great in what you are wearing nothing else should matter, Of course you have to wear it with confidence otherwise when given weird looks because something is not the “norm” you will feel as though you failed and possible revert back to your usual style, whatever that may be. No one ever got anywhere by not pushing the limits.

Last week, I met my mom at a local mall wearing Mac Matter Royal, a matte blue/purple, lipstick. It is a dark unique color, which I absolutely love! When my mom arrived she didn’t even notice me standing against the wall waiting on her. She said I looked scary. Did I care? Heck no! I was rocking the heck out of that lipstick and you couldn’t tell me different! Dark lippies intrigue me and I don’t think I will ever truly stray away!

Find something that makes you feel beautiful and allow no one to take away that thunder! Push boundaries, set your own definition of your personal style. It is okay to be inspired by others, but make it yours! We love to follow street trends, celebrity styles, being on top the latest, greatest, but not everyone can afford to do so. I, for one, cannot! Yes, I have a closet full of clothes and shoes and rather I bought items two days or two years ago, I still remain stylish and create my own version of today’s style! You can do it too! See pieces in ways never looked at before, make some alterations to modify things a little if you have to. Whatever you do, everyday you wake up and roll out of bed to get ready for the day ahead, release the beautiful confident you, turn heads like never before. Believe me, it feels amazing! There is a fashionista in all of us!

Be You. Be Bold. Be Beautiful. Be Your Bold Beautiful Self!
