I love when Mac releases a new collection, especially when it is a lip product as amazing as these! I went to the Mac Counter to try out a few colors maybe grab one or two, but as you can see that turned into six! I purchased Suggestive, Peer Pressure, What’s Going On?, How Chic Is This?, Tuned In, and A for Attitude. Click here for a description of the full collection.
L to R: Suggestive, Peer Pressure, What’s Going On? How Chic Is This?, A For Attitude, Tuned In
I seriously wanted to get almost every shade in this collection, but I had to control myself causing me to narrow it down to the 6 colors above. I still want to get She-Devil, but it won’t kill me if I don’t! When I applied these on my lips I noticed they went on smooth and were not tacky. As you can see A for Attitude does go on a little uneven, but was easy to even out by pressing my lip together and using my finger to move it around a little. You can get up to 6 hours of wear with these and after a while, I noticed the shine died down and turned into a stain or more into a satin finish. They are very moisturizing, which is always a plus with lip products, leaving my lips feeling soft!
These lipglosses are buildable and can easily be paired with a lip liner and/or lipstick. I actually prefer wearing them with a lip liner because I can customize the color to match my style. I created an ombre look by pairing A for Attitude with Mac Nightmoth lip liner. Gorgeous! I even paired Tuned In with Mac Persistence (LE) and Mary Kay Cappuccino lip liner to intensify the nude look while adding definition to my lips. There are so many looks that can be created with these glosses. Some colors within the collection can be even be created just so you know in case a certain shade is sold out. One of the makeup artists at the Mac Counter told me I could simply pair Peer Pressure with a dark lip liner and create Modern Drama. She was even wearing How Chic Is This? and paired it with a dark liner turning it into a deeper purple, instantly making me want it. You know I love dark lippies. Seriously though, lip liners can really transform a look!

Mac has changed the game with these liquid lipglosses and I would recommend all of these limited edition shades. What are your faves? I would love to hear your thoughts!
