Blue Green Algae Toner

I am always searching for the perfect skin regime and I am getting closer and closer to combining products that suit my needs completely. I have dry combination skin and have a problem with blemishes, dark spots, and hyper-pigmentation. Recently I was introduced to Michael Todd’s Blue Green Algae Toner and decided to give it a try, I was in need of a toner anyway so the timing was perfect. The company describes the product is “rich in vital nutrients, trace elements and amino acids, organic blue green algae and kelp in combination with Hyaluronic Acid penetrates deeply into the skin to speed up the elimination of toxins , promote cellular renewal, naturally nourish and remineralized skin.”

Since using this product I can surely see an improved difference in the appearance of my skin. I use it twice a day after I cleanse and before I apply serum or moisturizer. I pump the product onto a cotton ball and use it to wipe my face and neck. If I have any open skin, the toner can sting a little, but that is common in every toner I have used. The product does have a smell and although I am not a fan of it, I am willing to over look it for the results given. Plus the smell is only noticeable when wiping your face with the cotton ball and afterwards the smell disappears.

I am glad that I was exposed to this product and able to add it to my skin regime on my journey to achieving healthy clear skin. If you are interested in this product it’s available at Ulta for $19 (8.4 fl oz bottle).

What’s your skin regime? Favorite products? I would love to hear your thoughts!
