Anastasia Beverly Hills Lustrous Lip Gloss Review

image

I have been using Anatasia Beverly Hills Lustrous lip glosses for the past couple of weeks and I must say, I really like them! I ordered the Lustrous Lip Gloss Kit from Macy’s last month and shipping was super fast. I literally received the kit like 2 or 3 days after I placed my order. I am super late posting this review, but bare with me! I used to be a total lip gloss girl then I got addicted to lipsticks, but lately I have been adding lip glosses back into my collection, especially ones that are pigmented! It’s like having the best of both worlds.

Anastasia Beverly Hills currently has about 43 lip glosses in their entire  collection, but in the Lustrous lip gloss set only 8 are included.

From bottom to top:

Gilded: a metallic Champagne gold
Dainty: an opaque retro pink
Sunset Strip: a fiery gold-flecked pink
Metallic Rose: a shimmery classic mauve
Weekend Barbie: A vivid bright pink
Date Night: a romantic ruby red
Socialite: a sophisticated scarlet red
Black Cherry: a moody plum purple

All of the colors are easy to wear except for Dainty, which required me to use a lip liner to tone down the brightness of the pink. My lips felt smooth and the lip gloss was not drying which is always a bonus when it comes to lip products. In general, these colors can be worn alone or paired with a liner or lipstick. If I had to make a choice between continuing to buy ABH lip glosses or their liquid lipsticks, I think I will have to go with buying more lip glosses. When it comes to liquid lipsticks, Kat Von D has my heart!

Have you tried any yourself? What are your thoughts?

XOXO,

Brittany
